At the 2026 CTSI Annual Scientific Meeting, Carmen Quatman presented on the work of the LIFT Lab and its ongoing projects. This year’s meeting, themed Advancing Health Through Science and Partnerships for a Healthier Future, highlighted research focused on rural communities and improving care delivery.

Dr. Quatman also shared updates on the HEART trial, a $16.6 million orthopedic clinical trial funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). The study reflects the lab’s commitment to advancing research that improves patients’ health and long-term outcomes.
