Attention:
Volunteers Needed for a Research Study on Improving Physical Activity Among Survivors of Chronic Brain Injury
You May Qualify If You:
- Have a diagnosis of moderate or severe brain injury,
- Are more than 9 months past the event that caused the brain injury,
- Are near the end of regular physical therapy services, or no longer receive regular physical therapy services
- Do not regularly engage in exercise
Participation Involves:
- Eligibility screening and enrollment meeting
- Brief surveys about chronic brain injury (CBI) history and physical activity
- Monitoring physical activity levels for 10 weeks
- May involve physical activity interventions using an online fitness platform
- Weekly check-in with study staff
- A follow-up interview approximately 30 minutes long
Potential Benefits:
- Participation will provide insight about the utility of an online fitness platform CBI survivors
Compensation:
- You can receive up to $375 and a FitBit device for completion of all research activities
